APS-C Comes to EOS R

The Canon EOS R10 has a 24.2MP APS-C CMOS sensor, which lies in a resolution sweet spot and provides an excellent balance of resolution, file size, speed, and low-light performance. This sensor is suitable for both regular photography and UHD 4K recording since the file sizes are tiny enough to allow both fast continuous burst shooting and long video recording.

DIGIC X Processor

The Canon EOS R10 uses a DIGIC X image processor from the R3 to perform a number of high-speed operations including as continuous shooting and high-resolution video recording. The R10 can shoot at up to 23 frames per second with a silent electronic shutter or 15 frames per second with a mechanical shutter, providing AF and AE readings before each shot. Dual Pixel CMOS AF II

The advanced Dual Pixel CMOS AF II technology, which was carried over from the EOS R3, features 651 automatic AF points that cover the whole sensor area for faster, more responsive, and more precise focusing performance. This phase-detection focusing technology also offers better subject recognition and tracking capabilities, with the ability to intelligently discern between humans, animals, and vehicles, and tracking will automatically latch onto these objects and maintain tight focus during burst photos.

Intuitive Construction

A bright, sharp 2.36m-dot OLED electronic viewfinder is incorporated with the EOS R10 for high-resolution eye-level viewing. This 0.95x finder has fast processing with almost no latency, and a fast 120-fps refresh rate may be configured for vivid, realistic motion portrayal. There is also a 3.0″ vari-angle LCD that lets you to operate at high, low, and front-facing angles. The adjustable posture is complemented with a touchscreen interface, and the superb 1.04m-dot resolution allows for vivid playback and live view monitoring.

Flexible Connectivity

There are both wired and wireless networking options, allowing for different means of transmitting photographs and movies as well as remotely managing the camera. Physically, the EOS R10 camera has a USB Type-C port, a micro-HDMI port, and a 3.5mm microphone port for video recording.
